-- I CHALLENGE YOU TO GIVE UP SODA!!!

Ok Fat ****s.

I'm challenging all of you 'pop' (as you say in KC) lovers to throw away the habit forever.

I'm a former user and have been clean for over two years now. I will do one 12-24 ounce cola once every month or less, So I wouldn't say I'm ENTIRELY clean - but pretty well behaved. Most of you pop heads drink tons of it, daily.

Well we have some darned good news tonight because tonight 10-08-14 if you commit we will end this habit or decrease it. I see no issue with rewarding yourself every now and again w/ a coke classic or whichever your poison. Provided you're seriously quitting. If it's something you can't handle and have to quit forever and NEVER reward yourself with a coke classic or whichever your poison, then certainly don't risk it. And only you know your type and restraining ability.

I'd like to challenge anyone who has thought about this but never been pushed. It's just not that hard to quit. So.....

Anyone down?

I rarely drink soda, and never regular soda. For me, it's sodium that I'd rather have on food than in my beverage, and I find soda (I think it's the carbonation) tends to be a little dehydrating for me, which makes me drink more, which isn't good for my kidney issue. So mostly water, iced tea, and coffee.

I have started drinking the juice of a whole lemon in a glass of water every morning. There are a lot of people that claim it does all kinds of crazy good things for your body. I don't know about any of that, but I sure do feel good after I finish that and eat three eggs.

I did that for a few days a while back. It's tough on your teeth, though.

LOL!

No they don't. I just looked up the ingredients. I use Halls all winter especially when I have to work up north. I still had some here.

Other than homemade stuff, I rarely drink any kind of soda. Maybe once every three or four months I'll grab a root beer. But that's it. And that's going on 2 years now.

It's not in the ingredients, it's on the package. I've seen it on every fruit-flavored drop they have. If I had a package here, I'd take a pic for you.

Short of that, look here: http://www.drugs.com/drp/halls-sugar-free-drops.html
