Very much fun even in first 5 minutes of playing! I striked boar instantly and got gun fast but limited so far in destroying bad guys. Only played an hour so far amazing views. I hope the amazing continues!!

Kinda stopped playing this, iunno. It's fun but it seems repetitive or maybe I just can't get into it.

It just didn't blow me away like it should have.

I swear to you I could ride that damned hang-glider all day every day. Just to see how far I can go on it and such. Right now we're just killing time cleaning up the the islands of treasures, relics, and letters before moving on with the story line. We've yet to even try the co-op yet.
The way I played it, I would take a radio tower down and then clear that area of quests (helping random people, delivering meds, hunting and doing bounty killings), outposts, relics, lost letters and the Rakyat challenges and then move on to the next tower. It gave the game a good pace I thought. Once my map was all cleared, I was at the part of the story line where they tell you there's no more coming back. It worked out really well.

Picked this up a couple of weeks ago, played for a few days. I ****ing hated it. Honestly I think Bethesda has ruined me with Fallout and Elder Scrolls. Anything else I play just doesn't measure up.

Oh, so not a great game? I was thinking about picking it up, but I'm very, very picky about my games. Pretty much the only things I can play for more than a few days are the Elder Scrolls and Fallout games.

Annoying things - it's a checkpoint save game. I've really grown to despise that over the years. The game has to be really, really good to overcome it. This wasn't. Also, there is apparently no storage - your inventory only consists of what you can carry, and it fills up quickly. You kill and skin various animals to increase the size of your storage bags, but quickly you'll get to the point where you need to find a specific hide-type to make the next size up, and have no idea where that animal is located (like you could make a bigger bag with more hides of other animals. It's reeruned. The last straw was a tiger hunting mission where you have to use a bow and arrow. It was maddening. I was fairly disenchanted before that, and that was the last straw. Waste of $50, IMO.

Most of that sounds cool. Did you not like Red Dead Redemption?

There is a little hump to get over in the beginning but once past that, I can't get enough of the game. I went OCD early on and upgraded all my gear to the max and found as many loot chests and relics as possible. I just unlocked Hoyt's island so that is a lot more challenging overall. I think I have like 4 radio towers left.
