Movies

Yeah, so I saw a lot of movies this weekend.

Elizabeth: The Golden Age - Mediocre, at best. Slow and dragged on. Shorten it to 2 hours and it's golden. It's not, so it fails.

Michael Clayton - Amazing. Everything about it is awesome. However, it's VERY complex and mind bending. You have to think, so be prepared. I still feel like I'm missing key details of exactly what happened. Gotta see it again.

Across the Universe - Perfect is one word that comes to mind. It just works. And, contrary to many people I bet, the movie is best viewed sober. Trust me.

Exit Humanity - moved into my top 5 all time zombie movies. Sounds like a stupid premise but done really well. 4 Stars

Silver Tongues - wow. Makes you really think. What sick, sick people we can be...3.5 stars

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I thought it was pretty good but after you watch it the second time you see all the foreshadowing and you get the little twists.

Hugh jackman did great, bale was exceptional. Michael cane was good as always. Scarlett johannson is sexy. Did i mention sexy?

A masterpiece by nolan IMO
I just watched that this past weekend after reading the posts in here about it. I am big Nolan fan and I missed this one. I am glad we watched it. Very good movie.

Sometimes its hard to find movies you haven't seen that might be worth watching so it is always good to have one like this that you actually like, and it's not just a movie to watch because you are bored and haven't seen it.

ya I watched that last night too via redbox. Fun flick, lots of action and bad acting. Tim Riggins is a pretty terrible actor, lol.

But what I liked was the Missouri in action, that was cool and the old vets helping out, that must have been cool for them.

Saw this on Netflix tonight. It's really, really good. I think even people who aren't gamers would enjoy it. These are some pretty intense dudes.

rented Project X. At first it was entertaining in a Superbad kind of way, but then it got really stupid. I mean, do writers know anything? Like the cops wouldn't have blasted a dude that's picking everything off with a flame thrower, c'mon man. As if 1,500 people could just hide quietly from the cops and as if the whole neighborhood wouldn't have called the cops, not just 1 dude. C'mon man. That shit was stupid as hell.

yeah, that dude was stupid and that part was stupid, but that beg of the movie is the best ever dude walking into the house with "Hey we want some pussy" in the background. haha

interesting fact, that they shot that movie on the same street that they shot lethal weapon in. Its Danny Glovers house in that movie across the street. lol

Not saying that Project X is a good movie, but it's not meant to be watched outside a movie theater. It was funny as hell at the movies when I went. Everyone in the crowd was having a good time. But then i watched it at home and it wasn't even close. It was just lame as shit.

The Expatriate was pretty entertaining. Kind of a Bourne meets Taken kinda thing...
