Broncos | Not necessarily favorite to land Peyton Manning
Sat, 10 Mar 2012 05:23:32 -0800

Free-agent QB Peyton Manning's (Colts) visit with the Denver Broncos Friday, March 9, does not make them the favorite to land Manning. In fact, other teams are starting to be aggressive in expressing their interest. No contract negotiations were expected to occur during the visit. Manning did not work out for the Broncos, but wanted to familiarize himself with the team's facilities, organization and geography.

Jets | Peyton Manning was not interested
Sat, 10 Mar 2012 05:20:59 -0800

Free-agent QB Peyton Manning (Colts) did not have any interest in signing with the New York Jets, who extended the contract of QB Mark Sanchez Friday, March 9. Manning has begun to take recruiting trips and the Jets weren't on his itinerary.

This one is a beauty. They've already mortgaged their future drafts, why not eat up a bunch of cap space as well?

Redskins | Not ruling out Peyton Manning

The Washington Redskins' acquisition of the No. 2 overall pick in the NFL Draft will not change their plans in pursuing free-agent QB Peyton Manning (Colts). They still intend to talk with and try to sign Manning, even if they are considered a long shot.

It would be funny if Pioli said to Manning, "Matt Cassel is our starting quarterback, but hey the job is open for competition."

If your Peyton you'd be like uhhh suuuurreee, "you got me sold on that."
