Whats ridiculous is you being a germ nazi in your workplace. All the virus out there in a 24 hour period your trying to convince me you know how and by whom you will be infected.

its obviously a higher chance of you being sick being in a workplace with some idiot who decides to go into work sick instead of taking a day or two off to get better.

I am a dumbass. I would feel guilty calling in sick when I am not sick. I did take 40 hours of family sick time when my father was sick just before he passed away.

Other than those 40 Hours of Family sick I have used a total of about 5 sick days in 33 years.

Thank you to this thread! I took a mental health day and went shooting. Got my new deer rifle sighted in and ready to go.

At my company it's pointless not to use your sick time. I have over 800 hours accrued sick time that the company will pay out at retirement but only at 10%. I am going to make a point of using my sick time from now on.
