2013 PFF Free Agency Tracker

https://www.profootballfocus.com/blo...gency-tracker/

Quote:
Every year we launch into free agency with the aim to deliver the most comprehensive service out there. We’ve got rankings, breakdowns, team needs and some special features all coming up, but starts here…

With the Pro Football Focus Free Agency Tracker.

We’ve got a run down on all the available free agents with a breakdown of their 2012 snaps and player grades.

This year we’re making it even easier for you to find what you’re looking for by breaking the pages down a number of ways.
Short list of favorites:

RB Mike Goodson
WR Greg Jennings
G Andy Levitre
S Jairus Byrd
CB Sam Shields
DE/DT Steve McLendon (if we go 1-gap this guy would be a nice pickup)

There are a LOT of good safeties hitting FA this year so we should be able to sign someone to complement Berry.

https://www.profootballfocus.com/blo...gent-safeties/

Former Eagles Reid might sign:

Sheldon Brown + this list

But with a good QB, he'll be great in the slot.

Seems like a poor FA class this year especially for QB.

Now if you want to make the case that in an Andy Reid system he can have some success out of the backfield on screens/quick hitches/etc in open space, then i could get behind that... but when he goes downfield, how many times have we seen him either drop it or have it knocked loose by bigger db's?

I've said all along that this is the kind of coach he needs to play for, so i do envision some level of success for him here, but it sure as hell isnt in the slot or at any other receiver position.

I do think a new QB will open the field up for whoever plays the slot, defenses can't play a 12-15 yard box around the offense.

He had a very poor season. He hasn't earned a starting job whatsoever, that's my only point.

We absolutely should sign a FA.

Then I wasn't talking to you was I?

I agree he had a poor season. As a rookie, changing from OT in college to OG in the pros, and playing on a line that was in flux all season, he was NOT "dog shit" however.

I also don't have a problem with bringing in free agents. This whole discussion started with me not wanting to DRAFT a guard.
