Our secondary tried to start out the game aggressive and the refs let it be known that any attempt to play defense was not going to be tolerated.

what worries me is Mahomes consistently coming out too amped up for these prime time games and taking almost the entire first quarter to snap out of it. He needs to get that under control.

He was fine against the Bengals. Tonight we punted on our first possession but other than that, again fine. TD on the second and off he went.

I don't see a problem.

True, he did perform better from the get go against the Bengals. Something about the road games then. Watching from home he just didn't seem calm for most of the 1st. Like he was pressing a little.

He completed 12 out of his first 14 passes, and one of those was essentially dropped by Kelce because he jumped too early.

I don't think it was anything like NE.

Put some ketchup on Berry’s heel and ask him to actually be part of this team. It’s getting old watching him on the sidelines every week.

Ah. That one hurts.

It looked to be a tougher catch when I saw it live, but Goff really threw it right to him. What a bummer.

Everything looks easier in a still pic. He should have caught it but it was nowhere near as easy as that pic makes it look

And if they turn it over 5 times but Mahomes puts 50 on the board, we still win. Nobody else has Aaron Donald. Hes just such a bad matchup for this squad and its patchwork interior line.

Again - the are a lot of reasons for this loss and most of them are actually fairly understandable.
Austin Reiter was standing around with both thumbs up his ass on both of those strip sacks.

I don't know if that's on Reiter or the Oline coach
...but he should have been double-teaming Donald with Cam.

This is some weird phantom issue.

He had a perfect game in the first half.

Trust your eyes for once, and don't say something because you want to feel like you have this exceptional insight to understand something beyond the obvious.

It was an EASY pic for an NFL DB. Should have made it.

It was an easy interception. I think Scandrick was peeking down the field toward the end zone, personally.

Nope. Nope. Nope.

Scandrick makes the INT and Pat ends the game with an all time stat line and 3 Turnovers.

Yes, Pat had a chance to overcome the Scandrick drop and he made it worse.
But with 1 catch of the ball that game was won, rather than putting the entire offense in a high pressure situation to drive all the way downfield.

Yep. It would have been a game clinching pic 6, and he knew it.
