We'll see. I hope they draft Geno Smith, but I wouldn't bet any money on them doing it.

To be fair, the game hasn't started yet in that photo. For all we know, Jags fans tailgate right up until kickoff.

It's February and momentum is starting to build. The combine will happen and then we will start hearing it in earnest.

There's just no way they can pass on him and start their tenure that way. They won't pick Geno because the fans want them to, they will pick Geno because they are brilliant football people that know that is how good teams are built.

I trust Reid and Dosey based on past history. If they get Alex Smith I'll trust thei judgement but I'll be bummed out about not getting Geno at the same time.

**** all this shit. I can't wait to make a Geno spoof where a ghostly Donovan McNabb tells him to go to the Dagboah system, and he arrives and crashes his X-Wing fighter to discover AndYoda in the swamps of KC.

And if we draft Tavon Austin, Geno will be accompanied by his midget companion R2-Speed2

Must be confusing the Jaguars with the 12 other teams with worse attendance.

I am not one for another year of starting another teams trash but Alex Smith has grown up alot in the last two years. I want Geno or Tyler if they perfer but if they did sign Smith for reasonable price it would not be bad if they still drafted a QB.

Geno could be deadly in Andy's offense. His quick release would be gold. I really hope it's him.

The thing is, this isn't a shitty QB draft. This is a shitty QB draft IMO to try and pick guys up later. Geno, Wilson, Barkley, Glennon, and Nassib could all and go in the first round or early second. Then you have EJ Manuel/Dysert, who're probably 3rd round guys but will be taken in the 2nd or even the 1st if QBs start flying off the board.

That leaves you with uh...Landry Jones.

Woof.
