So, the Rams gave up a second rounder for a 1 year rental?

Some people worried about his numbers last year forget he was traded DURING training camp to the Rams. WR is one of the hardest positions in the league to learn a new playbook and get on the same page with the QB.

He will have an entire off season to learn this offense and work with Mahomes. Barring injuries, this could be the first season since 2008 that 3 receivers go over 1000 yards on the same team. Watkins, Hill and Kelce.

With good health, I like their chances. Hill and Watkins can rack up yards so fast with their explosiveness that it is very possible.

That’s Twitter, man. Very few fans on there know anything about football.

I’ve saw so many comments that say Mahomes is a bad QB already, that those weapons are just pretty good players.. most people just don’t have a great understanding of player quality in the league. That, or they just tell them things that make it easier to sleep at night.

Lol, when people talk about the best TE in the game Travis doesn't even show up.

I mean people are so out of touch.

After watching Coach Reid's interview about playing to Sammy/Mahomes strengths, and seeing how they used him in Clemson, you're going to see a damn near college offense next year. Watkins thrived after YAC in Clemson which is Reid's favorite setup. People keep saying throw Watkins and Hill on go routes but I think you're going to see much more WR screens and quick passes as one simple mishap by a defender and Hill/Watson are dancing in the endzone. Very very excited to see this offense next year.

Yep. And Mahomes has such a quick release the ball gets there so fast giving the receiver that extra split second to get upfield...

And with teams most likely respecting the deep ball and not putting 9 or even 10 defenders within 10 yards of the LOS like they did against Alex all the time...Man. We're gunna see our screens go for alot more yardage and big plays.

Can't wait to watch receivers catching the ball in stride while burning up the turf at top speed.
No more having to slow down or stop to rotate and make the catch. No more watching receivers having to jump a foot-plus in to the air just get the ball to graze their fingertips.

And even with a less than perfect O-line, Hunt should have one outstanding season thanks to Mahomes legitimate deep ball threat.
Can you imagine what Mahomes would accomplish with the Vermeil O-line?
Scary.

Yes, but I think that they made that up easily in the trades with the Broncos and Chiefs...
