These next 2 games LAC/Seattle

Seattle #6 scoring Defense at 20.5

LAC #7 scoring Defense at 20.8

And we just got by the #1 scoring defense at 18.5

Our schedule has really been brutal from week #1. If we keep #1 seed we've damned sure earned it. The two worst teams we faced , Oakland and Denver even gave us a tough out.

Again, we have Mahomes. He aint going to let setbacks, bad calls, coaching decisions keep us from the win.

WTF is with these Debbie Downers in this thread? Best year in Chiefs football in a LONNNGGGG time. Just enjoy the ride.

It is likely the team loses one of the two games.

Yep. But beat the Chargers tonight, and see what happens over the weekend, and the Seattle game may not even matter.

On the other hand, lose to the Chargers tonight, and that Seattle game could be the difference between the 1st and 5th seed.

Good luck tonight. Yes, the next two games are going to be tough. At the same time though you have a chance to lock up HFA and have a great test for the playoffs.

Solid win against Baltimore, just keep the ball rolling . . . . . . or better yet "just keep matriculating the ball down the field boys"

What other games would be good enough for Sunday night? Plus they'll still get plenty of star power on the Sunday night game - Mahomes, Hill, Kelce, Berry, Wilson, Lockett. I don't think that the lack of flex means that we are automatically screwed by the refs...but we still might be screwed for other reasons (setting up an LA vs LA Super Bowl, for example). The Chiefs will just have to play well enough to overcome the potential slant, which CAN be done.

No, they may not umless NE loses. If we win and that happens the Seattle game for us becomes meaningless. Andy would be an damn moron to play our stars the last two weeks. NFL needs us lose tonight from business stand point. They may intervene. It's been done before.

The stars would at least play some. They get two weeks off anyway (assuming a bye)...you really think he'd let them sit for an entire month?

They still practice. Losing one of them in a meaningless game would be devastating. Many teams sit all their stars the entire pre season so why would we not rest them a ton before the pkayoffs. I would sit everyone against Seattle then maybe play them some snaps at home and that's it. More than that is a real risk. Mahomes, Kelce, Hill, Houston, Jones, Ford, and our OL don't need more snaps to get ready. Just practice.

This team has shown perseverance .

First 3 out of four were away games including Foxburro

Above all we've had to ward off and overcome bad reffs almost every game this year.

Practice is not the same in today's NFL, basically walk/run throughs with no contact. We rest them that much we will get our clocks kicked in the first half of the playoff game.

Missing a game and half is not some massive drought. They are beat up and need some rest. Pushing them through the two games would be crazy. If the games don't matter let them rest. We won't skip a beat.

It's a tough call... 3 1/2 weeks with no game action effects teams... Look at the bowl games every year in college. Sometimes good teams just don't show up after that long of no game action. It's a risk either way.

It will be a nice problem to have, Go Chiefs!

So you’re saying there weren’t some missed opportunities on the offensive side that Patrick would have had a bette chance of completing over Smith? I think we would have at least beat Tenn last year if Andy would have put him in. Andy May go into conservative mode, but he’s not trying to give them the ball back. Patrick keeps the plays and drives alive. Alex would give up and run into a sack.
