Blaming a manager for losses is as dumb as blaming an ump. At most, these figures make one or two big calls per game. Whether or not it decides the game depends on the situation, but ultimately, what leads up to those dramatic points? Pretty sure it's the players and whether or not they actually execute a game-plan that determines success. If the players suck, then you'll see losses regardless of what happens with managerial decisions or blown ump calls.

It's just that simple.
