Midway through the season, who's your MVP?

As far as PLAYERS are concerned.

There are some very clear favorites but I figured I'd see what the Planet thought.

The single most dominant player on either side of the ball right now is easily Houston.

Smith's the Chiefs offensive MVP
Poe is the Chiefs defensive MVP

Smith gets the overall nod because of the QB bump.

Knile Davis because of his special teams contribution and being a Damn good replacement while Charles was injured. He's either deflated a teams Sails or carried the team on his back at least twice this year

This line sucks.

No I'm not kidding you. Smith needs to realize he wont have 6 seconds to make a decision with this makeshift bunch. You don't get walk in untouched holes at the goal line in the NFL or bust 40 yarders untouched at the LOS unless your line is doing something well.

Has there been breakdowns yes. But we had them with Vermeils world class O line getting Green concussed. A lot of our problems have happened when Davis is in backfield. He hasn't learned protections well yet. A simple chip often could have made the difference between a sack and a play downfield.

No ****ing way is Alex the MVP of this team while leading one of the worst passing offenses in the league.
So you think Booger or the rookie would have us at 4 wins right now.

Playing QB entails more than just flinging it. We are top 5 in 3rd down conversions and Smith has made plays when needed for the most part. How many first downs with his legs has he created?

You are just another guy who cares about nothing but FF stats.

And I voted for JC by the way.

Why not? He did what Alex did last season in almost beating the Chargers. If Daniel couldn't sit back and watch Charles, Kelce, DAT take his LoS deep passes for TDs and first downs while also handing the ball off to Charles and Davis then he has no business being on the roster.
