Now that they've got Ben signed to the farewell-deal, they'll be looking re-tool at the position sooner rather than later.

I'm fairly excited about the dual-prospect of Haley working with a freshly drafted QB prospect and possibly ascending to HC one day.

I'm not sure Haley was really ready to be a HC when he came to KC, but I can totally see him learning from his mistakes and doing a better job on round 2.

Whatever the case, I like his style. Always did.

When I was a youngster in the 70's and living in Oklahoma, Pitt was my team because a) they were a great team, and b) every Oklahoma hick-kid was a Cowboys fan. I really enjoyed watching Pittsburgh beat the piss out of Dallas.
After it became apparent that the Chiefs were going to be nothing but a continuous source of piss and frustration, and that I no longer respected them, and that I still held Pittsburgh in high regard and liked the way they do business, the choice was clear.

I haven't lived in KC in 11 years, and the last time I was there I was glad when it was finally time to go.
The mid west is no longer my home and it was time to move on.
