Killer apps for Android?

Since there's an iPhone version, I figured I'd start a Droid version. After being handcuffed by Sprint's SERO plan for the past two years, I finally ordered my LG Optimus S last night. It'll be here in about 24 hours. So, what toys should I play with when it arrives?

Thanks Face. SwiftKey is very nice but I'm a Swyper. Still, I keep SwiftKey in my Titanium Backup in case I want a change. Guess I'll restore it and go take the upgrade.

Morphius have you used your "Radar Now" app much? I use the radar in WeatherBug but wouldn't mind a more robust radar app. How would you rate Radar Now?

Flipboard is out officially now on Google Play too. I hope it's been optimized for tablets?

I grabbed Swiftkey on the deal too. I've used swype for ages, but I've been trying out swiftkey since yesterday and it's pretty good. The new HTC keyboard is absolute shit. I don't know which one I'll stick with.

Also, offtopic again (but I'm good at that), I played with a GSIII, and it's a disaster if you're a fan of pure-ish Android. The menu system is a complete cluster****, and everything is very Gingerbread feeling. I know it'll sell incredibly well, but HTC's done much better this generation with their One series when compared to Samsung. I'd have a hard time recommending the GSIII even to people flashing their own ROMs because of the deprecated buttons and menu system they used. It's really too bad, given the huge influence Samsung has in the Android ecosystem.

I use it every time I want to look at the local storms. I would say, basic tool, could use a bit better resolution, but solid and easy to use.

I have the GS2. I love it, but I am NO fan Samsung's Touchwiz. The ICS version is a bit better on my phone.

This is why I'm can't wait for a solid CM9 build.

I like it just fine, but it crashed constantly on my Prime (which is apparently a known hardware incompatibility). I've been using Dolphin HD lately, which I actually like quite a bit. If it interacted with Google's bookmarks system, I'm not even sure I'd use Chrome once it was stable.

I think you either like Swype or you don't. If you do, you use it. If you don't, you choose between a multitude of tap keyboards. That said, if you like a tap keyboard, SwiftKey is hands-down the best option IMO.

I must be an idiot, because I cannot use Swype. I've tried, but I'm just too slow on it.
