I like Five Guys better, but Smashburger is pretty good too.

One opened up close to me a couple years ago. I ate there once, it was good but not spectacular enough to get me to come back. It's not like it's hard to find a good hamburger.

Haven't tried it yet but it is definitely on my list. Heard good things. I tried Five Guys for the first time last month. It was decent but nothing special IMO. I still need to try BRGR Kitchen as well. I think one of the best burgers in KC in at Fric and Frac.

I thought it was a little better than Five Guys. I could really notice the quality in the beef.

Oh well hell yes it's better than fast food burgers. And I've never eaten at Red Robin, I'm partial to a local chain called Don & Millie's. A national chain has to have something pretty outstanding for me to choose them over a local guy.
