Today could have been our ticket out of the playoffs
10-4 with games left against Denver and San Diego. Neither of which would be a surprise to lose.

10-6 I think is getting us a ticket to the couch in January. Today we would have secured at least a spot. Now....well, we might need some help along the way. Depends on how Oak town does but I think the tie breaker scenario for a Wild Card spot is against us now with losses to 3 AFC teams that are in the hunt.

You should probably be rooting for the Patriots now.
The Chiefs need to essentially have New England lose out to have a shot at the #1 seed (no, its not happening).

Root for San Diego so KC can hold onto the #2 seed and root for New England so KC has a better chance at making the playoffs.

Statistically the #2 seed is a big edge, and this loss sets us back from that and may cost us the division.

But honestly, is Arrowhead even a big deal anymore? I mean the last five games we've:

LOST at home against Tampa Bay.
WON on the road against Denver.
WON on the road against Atlanta.
WON at home against Oakland.
LOST at home against Tennessee.

I almost like this team better on the road, honestly. But obviously the bye is preferred.
