The fact that Jesse is currently being held captive by Jack's gang is not an insurmountable problem. This is a TV show, after all.
Maybe Walt rescues Jesse.....and then assumes that everything is cool between the two of them. Walt walks off.....and Jesse caps him in the back of the head.

I just don't see the anger in either character at this point. Jesse was angry, attempted his revenge and it backfired. Then Walt was angry, sought revenge and Todd stepped in. Now reality has hit and both characters are hurting bad. I'm not counting out some type of peace. A moment of sincerity from Walt, and a moment of trust in that sincerity from Jesse. Still a hatred between them, but peace in the moment.

Especially not now that he has access to deadly chemicals that can cause explosions and stuff.

I also think Marie is going to come hard after Skyler. No husband, no kids. She will want custody of Holly. She always did.

Ricin for Marie? Walt could easily be following the media attention. Killing her in a more obvious way wouldn't look good for Skyler.

Wow. That's some pretty twisted logic there, amigo.

Jesse didn't get Hank killed. Walt did. Walt is the one who called Jack and told him to get out there and to bring reinforcements. He even gave him the exact GPS coordinates. Walt gave Hank the death sentence when he made that phone call. Before the phone call, Hank was not going to die. After the call, Hank's death was inevitable.

If you insist upon extending the chain of causality all the way back to Jesse because he ratted Walt out to Hank, you might as well go all the way and say that Jesse's parents are really the ones who are at fault. After all, if they had never given birth to Jesse, the shootout in the desert would have never happened.

For you and me that makes sense. In the game, which Jessie and Walt both operate in, cops should never be involved. Jessie should have dropped his flame in Walt's house or stfu. In Walt's mind, Jessie is responsible for Hank, which is likely why he rubbed Jane in his face.

Given the theme that a king is reduced to nothing, all he has left is his family. Barely.

Would be an interesting ending if some key members of walts family were killed off. If you lost everything and carried the guilt that your actions led to the death of a family member, how would you respond? Would he consider killing himself?

Neither of them are innocent.

I hope everyone but the kids wind up dead.
Why would Skyler kill Walt now? He made it so that she's completely off the hook for everything.

Nothing to do with Skyler killing Walt, but I doubt Marie will see Skyler as a victim after this. She's too much of a headcase. So maybe not completely off the hook. We'll see

Several people have made that suggestion. I wasn't limiting that sentiment to this thread either. That seems to be a prevailing idea. I still don't buy it. I believe everything he's done, save one or two situations, has been about survival.
