Best place to buy autographed items?

The wife has put me on a task of finding my own Christmas present. She told me to find me some Mahomes autographed items for her to look through for Christmas.

What’s the best place to look for these? Reputable sites? Places to stay away from?

Man can you imagine getting a ketchup bottle autographed by him? That would be epic.

depends on what you are looking for. Are you looking for trading cards issued with autos? Jersey? other?

Some of his stuff is on a non-linear trajectory in terms of cost.

You'll also want to make sure its verified by a reputable authenticator. PSA is still pretty legit. JSA has been called into question in the past. I think Beckett is on the same level as PSA. If its a hand written card that says "yeah he signed in front of me" go with your gut, but don't pay the same as if its been cleared by PSA, Beckett, etc

Anywhere from footballs to helmets probably. I know the prices right now are ****ing insane compared to other players.

Are there any sites that sell only PSA authentications?

sportsmemorabilia.com has several. Kicking around getting one as my Christmas present from the wife. I assume they're legit.

They have autographed Eric Fisher 8"x10"s for $10. Quite the bargain for a former No. 1 overall pick! And for an extra $10, upon delivery the UPS guy will toss it to the side and then knock you on your ass.

Honestly, alot of the major sports mem dealers have Ebay stores now. Just speaking from experience, but say you were looking at something authenticated by PSA. The seller will generally show the PSA sticker/cert, and you can go to their site to verify its validity.

You can try some larger auction houses like Heritage, Greg Boussineau, Memory Lane, and a bunch of others. They generally deal in older stuff, but they will sprinkle in some nicer modern stuff.

I would actually say start looking at Ebay, check the bigger sellers, and validate the authentication certs.

And get ready to pay out. I've been looking too, and this hasn't been a great time to pick his stuff up. Last year was, and I cabbaged onto some lower end things that seem to be in that $50-$100 range now.

I have the ability to send one item to Andy Reid to be autographed etc. My Sister is friends with one of Andy's proteges and he will send it to Coach to have it signed. I cant decide what to send any ideas cp.

I am considering a team ball but am open to suggestions.

As far as helmets, footballs and jerseys go. I trust and like Steiner the most. They will be one of the most expensive but the product you receive is exactly what it stated it is.

I pass on all hand signed cards not authenticated by a known and trusted authenticator (PSA/SGC/Beckett) or the card manufacturer.

Good luck on finding any Mahomes relatively cheap though. Just realize you are buying at a lights out popular player at an all time price high and the price will reflect that usually with a bit of a premium.

If something seems too good to be true without a trusted authenticator for a normally higher priced item. Be careful. If it is $10, so what. But that low price won't the case with Mahomes.

Powers Sports Memorabilia in Lees Summit is where I get a lot of my autographed items from. All are JSA certified. With sticker and card.

Lol! Check my avatar. That is a Patrick Mahomes autographed mini helmet from there. I bought it last year before the Broncos game. I knew the price would sky rocket once he became the official starter.
