Hypothetical: Chiefs have the 1st overall pick and no QBoTF

Since Eric Fisher ****ed us of this opportunity (however Mahomes is our savior).

Say the Chiefs have the #1 pick in this draft and they need a QB. You HAVE to take a QB with this pick. No trading down. No taking Quentin Nelson, OG. No taking a RB.

Which QB would you be screaming to take at #1?

What is the knock on Sam Darnold from those of you in this thread so far? I thought he knocked it out of the park at his Pro Day, making all the throws accurately in the rain. Am I not aware of something he has done?

For me, it's the lack of starts and the turnovers. Also, he really didn't get better his second season. I don't really care what someone looks like in shorts on his Pro Day.

I would trade for Carson Wentz who people said couldn’t handle the NFL speed because he was from division II.

I’m glad we aren’t in this position but I’d go Rosen. Maybe Mayfield if Alex Smith was still here to ‘groom’ him.

Why did Mayfield rise so fast at the end? All the talk I heard at the end of the season was that some team was going to make a mistake by drafting him in the mid-1st. Now he is in the discussion for #1 overall?
