Fantasy Football Talk- 2017

Let's make a thread to shit talk and talk in general about this fantasy football season.

I myself have a hard time locating some good research materials and for one, don't want to spend a shit ton of time on it. By making this thread, I am actually spending more time on this fantasy football season than I usually do.

I have printed off some depth charts for WR and RB, which I think will help with the live draft and choosing players in mid to late rounds.

Anything else you guys keep handy for the live draft?

Post your teams and leagues here after drafting.

Good luck!!!

That's a no. Another TE and I'd probably do it looking at your team. Graham looks lost and the Seahawks O line is so terrible, it limits Wilson's passing game way too much to trust.

These are the weeks I hate, playing Hopkins and DJax in one league and playing against both of them in another league.

Aaron Jones is the next Kareem Hunt to bloom. Better pick him up because not only does he produce but Aaron Rodgers loves this kid which means he will continue to get more snaps. AJ is the back they wanted Lacy to become.

Another rookie that has a ton of potential and is ready to bloom at RB is Elijah McGuire who will get the bulk of carries today as well.

Or he's stuck in a time share.

And he is...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Without a QB... Well, Aaron Jones isn't in much of a time share, but McGuire is.

Quick thoughts on a time sensitive trade?

Give up: Aaron Jones GB RB

Get: Joe Mixon RB Stefon Diggs WR

Seems like I'm getting the better of this. Mixon get lions share in Cincinnati, diggs GS been a beast when healthy and jones surely can't beast without Rodgers right?

Current RBs: zeke, buck Allen, Blount, F Henry, Aaron Jones and David Johnson on the IT.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Ended up getting Chris Thompson, Joe Mixon and Stefon Diggs for Aaron Jones, L Blount and A Thielen. Sure would like it if Mixon could start doing something with his opportunity. Might have given away the better Viking WR but Diggs ceiling is much higher. Still think I won this trade.

Not bad.

So I've already got Delanie Walker and ASF at my TE spot....but I could go pick up Greg Olsen after this week. Yay? Nay?

Not to be a downer, but I think this is my last year playing FF. The skill has all but been removed from the game.

We play 2 RB, 2 WR and a Flex.

My starters in those skill positions?

Gordon
Kamara
Evans
Thomas
D. Murray

I'm 3-5 and my season is effectively over as I'd have to run the table to make the playoffs.

Three players routinely ranked in the Top 5 at their positions every week, and two that are usually in the 12-18 range.

Yet I can't beat a team that started Matt Moore at QB and started most of his bench and waiver pickups due to buy week issues.

****ing stupid.

Is ASF supposed to be ASJ of the Jets? Is so, I think I would drop him and pick up Olsen, especially after the Benjamin trade.

I have another trade I am trying to get through. Currently 7-1 but have now lost David Johnson, Zeke and Dalvin Cook. The trade would be Russell Wilson/Doug Baldwin for Antonio Brown/Jay Ajayi.

Current Team:
QB: Russell Wilson, Deshaun Watson
RB: DJ (IR about to be dropped), Zeke, J Allen, Chris Thompson, Joe Mixon, Derrick Henry
WR: Doug Baldwin, M Crabtree, S Diggs, C Kupp, J Kearse, D Robinson
TE: D Walker, C Clay, T Kroft

I would likely pick up Garoppolo as a worst case option in case Watson went down. Seems hard to expect continuing to win without an upgrade at RB at this point.

Yeah....it was Sefarian-Jenkins. Damnt. Ended up picking up Shephard from the Giants instead. I'll wait another week and see how Walker is with his injury.

What's the rest of his team look like?

The rest of his team is pretty much trash, I took Watson and Aaron Jones (who I flipped already) off him days before ARod's injury.

His team:
QB: Mariota, Rodgers
RB: Ajayi, Perine, A Peterson, M Lynch, A Ellington
WR: A Brown, A Jeffrey, J Landry, Lockett, Higgins, T Benjamin, Roger Lewis
TE: Evan Engram, J Thomas

Why in the **** would he make that trade? He only has two starting RBs right now as it is. I don't see why he would trade away Ajayi for yet another WR.
