Not with the Broncos sitting at 20 with a huge need at RB. Hill's past hurt his draft stock and we took a chance and so far it has all worked out as the rest of league watched our success in taking a chance on Hill because he was special. Broncos sit at 20 and I guarantee if they have a chance to draft Cook they will due to a huge RB need because he is that special. We don't want to have to face DC twice a year. And no I am not crazy about drafting a RB in the 1st when the RB class is deep, but DC is special and I don't want the Donkeys to get him.

"CJ Spiller has his speed and twitch back" -John Dorsey

Chiefs GM John Dorsey said C.J. Spiller's "speed and twitch" are back.

Spiller's career has gone off the rails since leaving Buffalo but Dorsey has been impressed by what he's seen from him this offseason. If the 29-year-old makes it out of training camp, he'll fill a change-of-pace role behind Spencer Ware and Charcandrick West. There's no fantasy appeal here.

LOL, I had the exact same thing earlier when I was thinking about RB's here. I meant to bump the thread and make the post.

I'd imagine he's done. But hell, maybe Reid can squeeze something out of him. He was super talented at one time, in Buffalo etc.

It would be awesome.

two days later

" I can't believe I didn't recognize his meth problem", Chiefs GM John Dorsey says.

VARSITY
I can't think of a time yet where Dorsey has been blatantly wrong in a press conference, the way that Pioli always was.

If he's right, and Spiller looks like his college self (doubtful), then look the **** out.

Spiller was sooooo gross in college.

RB is like QB with Dorsey so far. He hasn't pulled the trigger to take one early in the draft so far. We need better at RB just like QB.

I would never take an RB in the first round but late second I would.
