Songs with days of the week in the title

I was thinking of this in the shower this morning. Tuesday's Gone by Lynyrd Skynyrd was playing on the radio. I was trying to think of other popular songs had days of the week in the title.

Here's what I came up with (I'm stumped on Wednesday):
  • Sunday, Bloody Sunday (U2)
  • Monday, Monday (The Mamas and the Papas)
  • Tuesday's Gone (Lynyrd Skynyrd)
  • Wednesday ?????
  • Thursday's Child (David Bowie)
  • Black Friday (Steely Dan)
  • Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting (Elton John)

What else have you got?

Yesterday, by the Beatles. Yesterday is a day of the week. It just changes frequently.

Same could be said of Tomorrow, from the musical Annie.

Are their other songs kind of in the same ballpark as I Believe in a Thing Called Love?

That could possibly be the best show ever aired on TV. It was actually my dads era, but I watched it with him

A link for the younger ones here that have never heard it (theme song)

I guess so. That is probably my least favorite song of theirs. Check out Stuck In A Rut and Givin Up to get a better idea. I'm drawn to them because of their guitar. Both guitarists can wail.

With the singer of Darkness having such a high range in his vocals, I wonder if he styled himself after the late singer of Uriah Heep, David Byron. He was my all-time favorite along with Ian Gillian and a few others.

Justin Hawkins of The Darkness

David Byron former lead singer of Uriah Heep 1969 to 1976, deceased 1985 psoriasis of the liver. They said he drank too much which is why they fired him. They were right. They said usually by the time he did the encore he was too drunk to stand up. I saw them July 1974 in St. Petersburg and they did the rock'n'roll medley for an encore and David sang the entire part while on his back. I thought he was just trying to be cool, but later I found out the truth.

Sorry for hijacking the thread, carry on.

Check My Morning Jacket for some dudes who can wail on guitar as well. Such a great band.

Wow. The resemblance is crazy. I have only just started exploring Uriah. I love that era of rock music. I did not experience it firsthand but it seems like such a creative period.

Below you will find the show I just saw at Red Rocks. I recommend headphones to hear how it sounded live. Melted my face. They did two nights, different setlists. Drove in from Phoenix to see it. As I tell everyone, give it a decent listen. This can sometimes start a bit slow, but I promise it gets bangin. Song 3 gets me going. We went absolutely ape shit at 12:28 LOVE THIS BAND! I am a pathetic fanboy for sure. Never liked a band better since Zeppelin.

Sadly, they do not have any songs with days of the week. However, they do a cover of Easy. " Easy like Sunday morning". That cover was on this setlist (just go with it).

Saturday night show is inferior IMO and is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ja7OVbNPlpw. But they did do Steam Engine.
