I like it.
I remember saying that about a dome team coming into Arrowhead in sub zero weather for the Play-Offs in the '95 season.

The Chiefs are no real contender this year, but it's annoying as hell to see people pumping up the Chargers.

Giants
Raiders
Broncos
Bills starting Nathan Peterman
Cowboys without Zeke Elliot
Browns
Redskins

They haven't beaten one quality team.

True, but they are killing the shitty ones. Which is what good teams do.

They have also beaten 4 teams the Chiefs lost to. Neither is all that relevant as things change week to week. They are hot and playing well on both sides of the ball. They have historically struggled in KC. I won't be surprised if either team wins.

The Chiefs have won two thirds of their games under Andy Reid. 90 percent against the division.

Chiefs are giving up just 3.59 YPC since the Cowboys game. The run defense ranks 5th in the league in that time span.

I wonder how much that has to do with Ragland getting more and more snaps as the season has gone on.

I never 'flipped' one way or the other. I'm just objectively looking at what is a weaker AFC than normal. If the Chiefs win Saturday, they are officially back on track and should be taken seriously again as potential contenders amongst the other AFC playoff teams.

Look, I'm just as excited for Mahomes as anyone, but that ship has sailed as far as 2017 goes. It simply isn't happening unless there is an injury, and I don't find any fun in rooting against the Chiefs or having zero faith in them. They've got a lot of talent to work with, and when things are going right, they're a hard team to beat.

Do I think they are going to the SB this year? No. But do I think it's possible with a strong win Saturday? Absolutely. The AFC just isn't what it has been the past several years. If the pass rush continues to heaten up and apply pressure, and Peters/Revis/Mitchell/Nelson can continue to look better and better, the defense is going to be much better than anything we've seen before the Raiders game.

Probably quite a bit, and Ford hasn't played since then either FWIW...
