I liked it. Shouldn't have been rated R. The beginning I liked, but I understand why people will have mixed opinions on that.

Yeah people that never read the book probably hated that...most my audience seemed like comic book geeks and appreciated it

I still think it's supposed to be interpreted one way, but because DC wants to consider "The Killing Joke" canon.

I liked it but there are other dc movies that are better...I'm still buying it though.
It's def dark and gritty a bit but not as shocking or as far as they could've went with it. If you've read the source it matches up pretty well

I purchased the BvS UE this past weekend on Amazon and still can't figure out why it was rated R.

It's about how Joker cripples Batwoman, FFS. Of course they are going to set up Barbara's story.

Meh. Just didn't do much for me. Not bad, not great - just kinda indifferent.

I get its going off the source material, still wished it had a longer runtime, but that's my quibble, not on them.

I didn't care for the back story cause they could've picked any other story of batgirl instead of her whining and screwing up as batgirl then quitting...wouldve been much better.

I think there's probably way more violence than "The Killing Joke".

The only thing I could see making "The Killing Joke" rated R is the scene where there are pictures of Barbara. Even then, that's still bullshit.

The reason why "The Killing Joke" is so well known is because it pretty much is considered the backstory to how Joker became Joker, not Barbara becoming the Oracle and paralyzed.
