A couple thoughts from what Clay posted (and thanks for doing that, Clay.)

1. I hate vague accountability. He says that he trusts Romeo, and that the team is good on paper. And then he says that you can't pin it on coaching, and that the players are playing hard (or something to that effect), but that "we all bear responsibility. What? So there's a straw man who does this? No. It's you, Scott. And Romeo. And many players.

2. Scott's right that winning usually solves things, but he's wrong here. He's either too isolated to know it (when he's not handing out gift cards defending his daughter's honor) or too arrogant to know that he and the whole "Patriots Way" thing is TOXIC with us. We're done with him, and rallying for 3-4 wins isn't going to solve it. It will make it worse because it will ruin the chance of a competent GM to fix our team.

3. Finally...no Scott, you are not 1-7. You're 22-35. You're 3-14 against teams with winning records. You've lost by 14 or more points 19 out of 57 games. You're 0-24 against teams that score 24 or more points. You've fired two head coaches in four years and have an incompetent schmuck as your third. You're 3-11 in our last 14 home games. You're paying more for Matt Cassel and Tyson Jackson than teams are spending for RG3 and Andrew Luck. You are abysmal, so stop selling this "we're struggling now" BS. You've always struggled.

Pioli is dumb as shit. Saying "expectations were too high" just makes him look like more of a loser.

Pioli is right that the team is not as bad as it seems. The problem is mostly with the coaching and the front office. The fact that the team has not developed a positive chemistry is a failure of the coaching. Coaches can't play the game, but they design the plays and build team identity. They have failed at both.

Pioli failed by doubling down on weak QBs. He utters incredulous statements like he has the same level of faith in Crennel now. That is just stupid. You cannot have the same level of confidence in a man who has lost his team and is rudderless.

Winning some games is not enough. We need new coaches that know how to build team spirit, design plays that are not predictable, and keep the opponent guessing.

We also need a new GM because the current one is too stubborn to see the flaws and do anything about it. He is fiddling while Rome burns. Everyone else can see the flaws. The record speaks of an EPIC FAIL, but Pioli claims he cannot see it -- it is just poor execution by the players. He needs to go.
