Chiefs Ex Chiefs, where are they now? - Page 8

A while back, Rico said that he kept up on ex players. I figured that with rosters still at 90, that it may be interesting to see what guys are still on rosters and if they will make their clubs. I'll start with what I know, including what Rico shared.

Stanzi has bounced around a lot. After the Chiefs, he went to the Jags. He has also been on the Giants, Texans and Lions rosters. He worked out with the Pats in March. Last I knew, he participated in the Cleveland Browns minicamp.

Moeaki has been on a different team every year since being released by the Chiefs. He has played for the Bills, Seahawks, Falcons and currently, the Bears

Bernard Pollard has been out of the league for a year since tearing his ACL in Tennessee. I think we all know that Cassel is a Titan now. I mentioned the other day that Eric Kush is a Ram. Glenn Dorsey is still a 49er, though he finished last year on IR. Tyson Jackson is still a Falcon. Thigpen has been out of the league since 2014. Brandon Carr is in the final year of his contract with Dallas and took a $3mil pay cut to stay on the team this year. Besides the obvious that everyone knows like Flowers, Stepenson, Hudson, etc... Are there any others that you know of?

Priest Holmes is living in San Antonio and still eating nachos. He has the Priest Holmes Foundation that he started in 2005 and according to the foundation website, he is one of San Antonio's most active philanthropists.

He had one decent year with the Chiefs, '96 I believe. I remember one TD where he caught the ball and got laid out. He was laying in the end zone unconscious for a few moments, but hung onto the ball. That made him one of my favorite players when I was 16. Then he left in FA and did next to nothing after that (maybe a similar year with Chicago in '97?).

He's from OK and there's a LinkedIn of a Chris Penn in OK who does rails and other transportation stuff. Don't know if it's him. Google mostly returns the deceased actor, not including the football stats.

Ex-Kansas City Chiefs Running Back Larry Johnson Now a Strip Club DJ

Larry Johnson is back in the club, and he’s still making noise.

TMZ reports that the former Kansas City Chiefs running back is now performing as a guest DJ for a Miami-area strip club. Johnson, the once-sensational running back for Kansas City, has been seen frequenting the DJ booth at Tootsie’s Cabaret in Miami, Fla. over the last year.

While he isn’t the main DJ, the gossip site’s sources maintain Johnson enjoys commandeering the booth from time to time, and that he spins a pretty good set.

If Tootsie’s sounds familiar, it's probably because it’s the same strip club Aaron Hernandez hung out at the night he allegedly shot his friend Alex Bradley, per Brian MacQuarrie of The Boston Globe. Johnson, a resident of North Bay Village, Fla., lives only a few miles north of the 60,000 square foot establishment.

Even with his close proximity, it’s surprising to hear a place like Tootsie's has welcomed Johnson, who has a checkered past with alcohol and women.

In 2012, the former Chiefs star was arrested in Las Vegas after allegedly choking his ex-girlfriend unconscious and leaving her in her underwear in a hotel hallway, according to The Associated Press (via USA Today). Johnson eventually pleaded guilty to misdemeanor domestic battery and assault and received one year of probation, per TMZ.

This came four years after a 2008 incident at a night club in Kansas City, Mo., where Johnson was arrested after allegedly shoving one woman and spitting in the face of another, as reported by the AP (via ESPN).

To be clear, Johnson didn’t do anything illegal at Tootsie’s. He’s just a local patron who DJs on occasion. However, given his track record, night clubs may not be his ideal spot anymore.

With that being said, if there’s one place for DJ Jazzy Johnson to be in a gentleman’s establishment, it’s enclosed in a secure place away from the working professionals.
