Chiefs Alternate History Madden Franchise: Can Joe Montana take KC back to the SB?

Return of Mals: Joe Montana Edition

Downloaded a 1993 NFL Roster updated for Madden 17 last night.

All teams and players are edited to reflect their 1993 counterparts. Steve Young, Troy Aikman, Warren Moon and JOE MONTANA are all on this roster along with every other starter AND backup from 1993. This roster is so accurate it has Andre Ware on the Lions. Titans serve as the Oilers, Texans and Jags are full of generic assholes.

Chiefs have Joe, Marcus, DT, Smith, Carter, etc. Whoever did this is a genious and even got the player equipment right. Faces are computer-generated and coaches are wrong, but can't have everything.

The goal: get the Chiefs back in the SB with Montana at starting QB. Franchise will run until Joe retires. Not allowed to switch QBs.

LET'S DO THIS!

That was amazing how you dubbed all the announcer calls over the plays. That had to have been a pain in the ass to do. Well done.

That entire video was ****ing nails. I loved the commentary. I'm proud of you Mals even if we didn't win the entire thing.

Are we headed to the offseason or are you doing a completely new era of Chief football?

Neon Deion!

For $18m a year though. **** me!

Guy better lock down half the field every week for us to come out on top of that one.

Are you going to have him returning kicks occasionally or nah?

Punts, yes. Kickoff returns are abysmal on this game so I'll be using Greg Hill there most likely. Don't want Deion to get hurt for a 25-yard return.

Training camp! Deion Sanders is just lethal.

This ball wasn't even thrown to Deion's receiver and he still picks it. Look at where he is when the ball is in the air.

Both feet in bounds.

Deion likes to make picks.

Here's new WR Ernest Givins hauling in a TD pass from Joe Montana.

Rookie RB Lamar Smith nicely broke a Mark Collins tackle here before Ted Washington's 350 pounds ran him down. Look at Fat Ted hop the guard.

Later on Montana hooked up with Wesley Walls for a TD.

Quinn Early made a nice play here on another long TD from Montana. Early will be the Chiefs #1.

Fat Ted is a big ****ing load.

The coaches got on Fat Ted after he hit Montana on one play.

Rookie Lamar Smith has been impressive. Here he runs over Dale Carter.

The Chiefs made a late FA addition to the roster.

Meanwhile, backup QB Steve Bono has been struggling with his accuracy.
