What's one thing in your home

you consider a luxury?

I ask this question because the last couple of mornings I've been using a bath towel warmer that my Aunt got us for Christmas and it got me wondering how many people might actually have something like this because I would've never thought about buying something like a bath towel warmer but sure am damn glad she did.

Yeah, it could definitely be something with a better vibe but it's a sofa sleeper that's built like a Sherman tank, so it works. I bought it in 2003 and like many things from 2003, there are better options today.

I don't see a need to replace it if we're sleeping well, but then again maybe I'm just used to it and would sleep like a proverbial baby on a new mattress.
I've read that the whole "change your mattress every 8-10 years" thing was pretty much put out by mattress salesmen. If it's quality and isn't bothering you, I would keep it. Our set is about 25 years old and is finally starting to get a bit soft for my wife. She likes a mattress that is so firm that we might as well save the money and sleep on the floor.

That's my thinking, but I wasn't sure if I was wrong. I think I sleep fine.

The other disincentive to buy a new mattress is that it won't fit up our second-floor stairs. We had to hoist our current up to the third floor from the outside, and that's how we'll have to take it out and bring up a new one.

65' Chevy II, definitely a luxury. Older pics but all I got right now as she has been in the garage since then and is all dusty now. Should be up and running again soon.

The SN made sense for us because I like a firmer setting and she likes sleeping on (essentially) marshmallows.

I wondered about that myself. Good to know it comes from the mattress industry.

At this moment it's the extra car battery I have. 7 degrees this morning and the old jeep turned over about 2 times. Grabbed the cables and extra battery. That jump start took less than 5 minutes. That was a luxury in the cold ass weather.

Definitely a luxury. My heart would beat and the sun would rise in the east, but damn. It would suck an awful lot without her.
