MADDEN 15

This is going to be out within a month.. I have not seen many videos nor gameplay footage of the new madden. Only a few clips here and there, and I wasn't blown away, it looked to be the same as Madden 25.

I'll most likely still get it, whats everyone's thoughts on the game and what would you like to see EA do?

The last madden I really liked was 12, it went downhill from there. 13 was lackluster, 25 was decent on PS3(only got it for the NCAA rosters for franchise) and 25 on PS4 is alright, though nowhere close to the presentation of 2K5 which is really sad.

I hope this is a good year for Madden gameplay/presentation wise but I doubt it.

I'm kind of in the ''meh'' category too.

It's actually pretty good and the closest to NCAA in terms of gameplay. the whole presentation and NFL atmosphere still isn't there..idunno.

and maybe it's just me but I love playing around with the teams and trying all the players and new ones, I'm not getting that from this one. I have very little interest in playing as any other teams except the chiefs.

overall I haven't played enough but It's OK - def an upgrade from madden 25 but still doesn't feel NEXT GEN to me.

As far as runs go, no playbook can beat it. All of the zones, traps, draws, counters, etc. make it damn near impossible to stop. The passing plays could be better (I think the Saints playbook is best in that regard), but I prefer a balanced attack.

Plus, it's no secret that Jamaal is our offense's engine. Going into the spread and getting him 1-on-1 with a LB or safety in the hole means some big ****ing gains!
It retained some of the M25 book, but mostly revamped now. 90% of the book is gun. I think the only under center it has is weak-I, goaline and one or two ACE formations. Shotgun HB counter is money this year, and if they spread or stack outside, most of the formations have inside zone as the running audible. Thats half my scheme right there... the passing you'll have to figure out on your own but I have about 6-7 plays that will have someone open regardless of coverage.

Started an online dynasty with Mr. Plow today.

He randomly chose the Texans and I got stuck with the Jags.

I've enjoyed it all so far.

Playing offline "franchise mode" now on the PS4. I've been impressed thus far. Gameplay is realistic, the new camera angles on defense are pretty damn awesome.

I'm happy with the game in spite of myself.

One thing I've really noticed is the crowd noise. It's the best I've heard in any game.

I really do want to get this game but i'll just wait for a used copy. Or I might just wait for nba 2k15 instead. I miss the days of 2k football.

I don't suppose you'd like to share those pass plays?

started a franchise/owner, just as a first run. I can say, the 3 games I've played so far have been MUCH more enjoyable than any of the other Madden's of the last 8 years. Overall, it seems much better. Not impossible to play; not too easy etc. my games have been of the 17-10, 17-14 variety. There haven't been reeruned amounts of rushing yards, or passing yards. I've seen a good mix of dropped balls, fumbles, over throws etc. all things that make it feel a little better.

Though...penalties still drive me nuts. I mean, really...not a single holding penalty all game on either team? c'mon. ....no defensive PI or offensive PI, etc.

Yeah, I decided that I wanted this to be a little more realistic so I'm slowly adjusting the penalty sliders... If it's like maddens of ago, it will go from no penalties to fifty a game. So far, that hasn't happened.

the last few games I've played have been really fun. sort of a slug fest with a few decently sized plays sprinkled in by both teams.
