Yeah the show pretty much excluded her for the last 2 episodes, which i thought was bullshit.

I'm fine with whatever if the book folks drop book material in spoilers. I'll read it all but the butthurt will be massive if anything in the show is spoiled.

I guess the crux of the issue is that there basically isn't anything major left to spoil unless they really surprise us and bring back plotlines that are thought to be dead at this point.

After next season, then who knows. Because book 7 may not arrive until the 2020s. |

Meta discussion about Game of Thrones threads
The real question is whether or not GRRM has to put spoiler tags in his next book.

I think you still need a Spoiler and Non-Spoiler thread, but maybe in a different way than book readers vs non-readers.
With everyone pretty much at the same point in the story now (with a few exceptions, but none rising to major spoiler level), and as we wait for the book and/or show to be released or start up again, there will be some who want to know everything they can about what is going on (i.e. casting and filming rumors and other spoilerish gossip), while others will want to wait and not know ahead of time that Kit Harrington is filming scenes for Season 6, etc. So Spoiler and non-spoiler threads might still be needed, but for different reasons now. |

I think there should be a separation just for those that want to watch the show and not hear predictions and those that want to speculate and read where they could possibly be going.

Doesn't look like there's a clear consensus, but there's a slight lean toward the "keep them separate" direction. As for different ways of splitting it up, I'll leave that to the thread starters.

I do think the point someone made earlier about the book coming out a bit before the next season tends to support the idea of continuing the separate threads. People will make progress get through the book quicker than the episodes will come out so I am sure they will want to discuss book events and how they exist it to look in the show and other things of that nature.

Just keep the two threads as they are.
I've been jumping between the two like.a.bauce for months now with no issues. |

I voted for the "Don't Care" Option--
I have no problem bouncing between threads, and if they get combined into one mega thread I will wound up reading that as well, so as long as there is a thread on here somewhere, I am good.
