anyone know about David Andrews, center for Georgia?

listed a 7th rounder/ufa...3 year starter for some very good offenses with Murray as his QB...locally, people were surprised he wasn't invited to the combine

walter football has him as their 9th rated center (projected 6th/ufa)

My opinion:

A plodder. Gives up alot of ground in pass protection. Lacks a punch and lets defenders into his breast plate immediately. Doesn't generate movement in run game and stops feet alot on contact. Ineffective picking up blocks at the second level, often lunging and missing. Can't recover against counter-moves and got away with some grabbing in his attempts to keep defenders from getting into the backfield.

Might be a backup in the league because he doesn't outright lose, but he won't give you much positive movement. Late 7th-UDFA.

IMO Stephone Anthony is ranked higher than he should be and Paul Dawson is ranked way to low.

Paul Dawson showed up with a tire around his waist at the combine. Dude is simply not disciplined enough to do what needs to get done to be an effective NFL player. I don't blame crow for dropping him to 9. The more I think about him, the more I would straight up remove him from my board.

Burfict and Spikes laid an egg that was twice the size of Dawson's at the combine.

Combine stats are meaningful but the tape most definitely says he can play.

Both had horrible 40's just like Dawson. The difference is that both Burfict and Spikes are substantially bigger than Dawson and they didn't show up looking like they'd been eating Ho-ho's and Cheetos all off-season.

Dawson was only 235 and looked like he was carrying at least 15 to 20 pounds of bad weight.

Burfict was 6'1", 248 lb. and Spikes was 6'3", 249 lb. and both were solid physically at the combine.

I know you like Dawson (a lot apparently), but he's very undersized for our scheme at the NFL level and if he runs a 5 second 40 at 235, he's going to get absolutely demolished at the next level.

Yeah, Dawson had "People of Wal-Mart" legs. He looked like a "leggings are not pants" picture.
