Good God if only Matheny wouldn't have been a total window-licker in the NLCS and the Redbirds won the games they would have won with a competent manager and in turn, made it to the World Series... this wouldn't have happened.

I know your probably joking, at least I hope you are. I will blame Matheny for a lot of things but to blame the death of a ball player he knew personally is just sick on so many levels.

I'm not blaming it on Matheny. Just stating a couple facts...1.) Matheny was awful in the NLCS and 2.) If the Cardinals made the World Series, this wouldn't have happened. Look dude, I don't think it's Matheny's fault that Taveras was killed in a car accident. I feel it is Matheny's fault that the Cards aren't playing in the World Series and believe that if the Cards did make the World Series, this wouldn't have happened. I'm just calling it what it is....an unfortunate turn of events combined with bad luck which ultimately and in devastating, heartbreaking fashion, led to tragedy. Ok? I'm not "blaming" it on Matheny and I apologize that it is obviously coming off that way.
