That's gonna finish me off

After 40 years, I renounce my fanhood.

Yeah, I'm a pussy, whatever.

I just can't take it anymore. This franchise is now a national joke. And I can't absorb anymore of this punishment.

It's just not worth it anymore. Life's too short.

Flame away.

I haven't seen this anywhere, but I'm guessing if you factor in we were plus-3 in the turnover ratio, plus scored 44 points, it's the worst performance ever.

I saw that teams that lose the turnover margin in playoff games all time are something like 16-130, and that of course includes teams that were minus-1 (low-end affairs like 0 turnovers to 1, 1 turnover to 2). We were PLUS-3 and lost ... while scoring 44 points.

It's absolutely mind-boggling.

Yep. The '92 Oilers were -3 in the turnover ratio which really helped Buffalo come back. Its just inconceivable that the Chiefs managed to lose that game. No ****ING WAY THAT COULD HAPPEN, but happen it did. Funny thing is, its MORE BELIEVABLE if it were actually rigged.

That turnover margin is something frightening, no doubt. But you have 2 or 3 fourth quarter possessions in which you run out of bounds, have a couple of incompletions, and then punt, it's not that different from a turnover. It was mind boggling watching those guys run out of bounds again and again and again. I still can't believe it.

That is poor coaching. They were not even letting the clock run down all the way when they had the ball. It was like they were in a trance or something, totally disconnected from reality.

1) Giving up 28 point in less than 30 minutes.
2) Giving up 21 of those 28 points in drives that totaled ~5 minutes of game time.
3) This trend of epic fail is an epic trend.
4) The organization thinks many fans are dumb enough to fall for the "but we were 11-5" (with a very easy first half schedule), and lose focus on what happened/happens against Indy and good teams.
5) And before we heard it, I think many of us knew Sutton wouldn't suffer a public execution for leading that band of idiot cowards who, as a unit, are amongst the highest paid defensive units in the game.
6) We knew the team would react by leaving town instead of facing the fans (so typical!!).

So yes, our record was 11-5, but I think everybody knows that this franchise won't do that again next year. And when they don't, THEN we'll hear about how tough the schedule was (when they'll never admit that this year's was easy), we'll hear about injuries, concussions, even starving kids in Hollywood, and everything but what matters.

It's not ONE thing, it's 44 years of no SB, 20 years of no playoff victory, and 8 straight one-and-dones in those 20 years that bothers people.

And they know "the franchise"... This franchise is owned by a non-resident clown who, if he cares about winning, comes from a family that has proven in the past that it didn't matter above profit. So Clark may care, only he knows that, but he's just the titular head of a family that very well might not. So watching him sit on his hands after that ending "playing the part of the cool level-headed guy" should lead nobody to believe that "year-2" is going to make ANY difference. And most of us the the line-up of excuses being documented already:

1) We had a much tougher schedule in 2014.
2) We had to swap-out most of the D because THE pillowbiterS FROM 2013 WERE ALL GAY!
3) We were focused on the starving kids in Hollywood.
4) January of 2013 was cold!
5) And best of all, "we just didn't get it done." The ultimate get out of jail free card.

So if 11-5 is supposed to mean something, it only means something to somebody who doesn't know the franchises history (that sets the tone for the organization), and they didn't bother to look at the franchise and realize that there's a LOT to fix, and the chefs in THAT kitchen get to try to do it with FAs in the league who are all to willing to opt-out of KC (because of the franchise's history)...

Just my $.02 on why I think THAT straw just happens to be the one that broke the camel's back.

Whoever this poster is, he's completely taken over Chiefs Planet like Luck did the second half vs the Chumps.

The Coaching in the 2nd half was beyond criminal. What Philly Fans said about Andy Reid all came true in the final 25 horrifying minutes of that game.

Next year will be a clone of 2004 and the year after will be a duplicate of 2005.

Get excited Chiefs fans.

Bob Dole continues to want to utter "unbelievable" when people ask him about the game.

Unfortunately, it was all too believable.

It took some unbelievably bad Luck that could only happen to the Chiefs to lose the game, but was the D really any different from the first SD game or second Denver game? Trent Dilfer after those games said something to the effect with smart QBs, you can't play man coverage every down because the QB will know where the ball needs to go pre-snap.

Either Sutton has to go or Dorsey and Reid better have identified whatever glaring talent deficiency they think exists and fix it.

me neither.

TEX, Glorydayz, Nzoner...what do you guys think??

Do YOU guys believe it??

Because there is one simple, logical, and absolutely believable conclusion, when you weigh it all.

I don't think they did a 180, their suckage was disguised in their easy first-half-of-the-season schedule. Remember, they were frauds... And they were!

Bad coaching and bad players were exposed in the 2nd half and in Indy, and now that it's all being swept under the rug by nobody being released (that wasn't leaving anyway), bad ownership is being exposed too.
