Yes because Kawhi's uncle basically gave them no leverage in this deal. The Lakers weren't going to deal anything for him considering he's going there in a year and nobody else was either because they all know where he's going.

Have lived in Toronto for a large portion of my life and have been to San Antonio, so yes, I know.

Spurs were lucky/fortunate enough to have 3 HOFers including one of the best players of all time for most of those years (and then to follow it up with another top 5 player in the league in Leonard). They should be rebuilding at this point.

The cold certainly sucks in the winter. I'll take 80 in the summers over 100+, though. And beyond weather, there's certainly no comparison between the cities.
