But what direction are they going in? Why sign all those old guys if you are rebuilding? It reeks of indecision and no direction to me.

Who did you like from their draft? Not seen anyone really stand out at all, Hall has been okay, I think Maurice Hurst was a steal if his heart is okay. Other than that there's been a couple of terrible performances from their rookies.

I'll be concered when the Raiders have an actual GM who knows how to draft. Beyond Carr and Mack - who both were no brainer picks - the Raiders have not done shit in the draft.

First move I'd make is to fire Reggie.

One can’t underestimate the locker room impact this may have. Gruden just made a lot of players question him badly, if they hadn’t already.

Not a bad trade when your division has Rodgers, Cousins, and Stafford.

Gruden is so goddamned arrogant. It is going to be a glorious disaster.

Have to wait and see how this turns out obviously. Raiders will have 2 firsts plus the cap room with not signing him to get 2 decent contracts. If they get 2 very good players out of that it comes at least close to a decent long-term move. Three players, they come out in good shape. That's no guarantee of course.

Short-term it's good for us. Long-term who knows. They are certainly an organization capable of not getting 2 good players out of the entire situation.

Even if they draft good players with those picks, Gruden just set a precedent that it doesn't matter how great you are, how hard you work, how great of a leader you are, they still might not pay you.

This is what the Raiders do. Is anyone really thinking that they will hit home runs with those picks? I doubt it..
