Obamagate: Why was the Obama admin spying on an incoming administration, anyway?

When they #ReleaseTheMemo, this is going to become a big question.

I blame the 535.
I also blame one. We are all well aware of the one .Many times his decisions donít make any sense or logic.

Americans as a whole need to look in the mirror and say out our:Ē What hath God wraught?Ē
Saw a perspective on the past year that I did not expect the other day. It was a review of Portlandia, which is in its final season.

I'd always watched and enjoyed Portlandia as a loving but still biting satirization of the ridiculousness of NW liberals who get so comfortable that they seek new avenues of tension and worry to fret over.

But this review seemed to take the tact that the show was a celebration of the triumph of the Obama era, where definitions of bliss abounded. It deemed Portlandia a show whose time had past, as the past year demonstrated that this idyllic dream of Portland-ish bliss was premature.

From the comments, I think it's safe to say that this view of Portlandia's antics was in the minority [with a liberal audience for the show and site, most saw the show as white entitlement ridiculousness, as opposed to a more generalized liberal ridiculousness a more conservative audience might hold]. But what think those here? Was there anything liberating and blissful about Portlandia, or was it straight satire?

I am aware of the show, never watched it though. I read enough to know what The was doing. Satire? No doubt. Liberating? I must give an incomplete grade as I said I never watched. TV is a liberal desolate wasteland. Only live shows I watch are sports and FNC. I DVR an occasional interesting show. Only way to watch TV. ****ing commercials waste my time. Program the Dish Hopper to skip past the detritus ads. To me, anything can be made satirical. I like satire. Reminds me not to take life so seriously. But the vast majority of TV has a highly selective lefty audience, and I donít fit that hole. You donít either. FNC is scandalous, but hard to resist beautiful women in short , tight clothing. No one wants to see ugly people on TV. FNC has mastered beauty . At least superficially. Highly entertaining, not matter which way one leans.

I do not believe the Republicans will leak this memo the way Dianne Feinstein recently did. It's my understanding that they are trying to bring Law & Order back to this process and will follow protocol.

Ephesians 2:8-10

English Standard Version (ESV)

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

As someone who lives in the region, I took it as straight satire. I certainly don't take Portlandites to be so blissful that they seek new avenues of tension to worry or fret over. Portlandites are anything but blissful. They are largely very angry and jealous people. Hypocrites, really. For all the talk of their openness, they are as territorial a group as I can ever remember.

Don't get me wrong. There is plenty of bliss to find in the Pacific NW, but it's not the grievance culture that is finding that bliss here. It's the conservative people who shrug off life's little injustices and enjoy the scenery and little idiosyncrasies that are unique to this area.

I think maybe an example might help.

Is this a satirization of the kind of people who would have these concerns or a celebration of a society where you can have and express these concerns without judgment?
