Let's compromise and have the players and cheerleaders do a river dance during the anthem:

So you acknowledge that fans giving him shit led him to snap. If not for fans taunting him, he probably wouldn't have melted down like that and he would still be a chief today.

Here's a better question. How many times have fans taunted a GOOD player on their own team? don't remember Seattle doing it much. If you do that in Philly or NY, the fans would taunt you.

If you are an NFL owner would a kneeling player lower his stock price in your eyes? This might have been a better question.

You dont seem to understand the difference between a paying fan and an employee at work for the corporation employing them.

Protest on your time and dime not the NFL's. You spend your time at work protesting your pet peaves you will find yourself with all the time in the world to protest except you will be paycheck less.

I do agree the home of the Chiefs at end of anthem is stupid but try to stop a paying public that is most likely wasted.

Because it is done during the national anthem when it could just as easily be done just before and make the same point. The real intent is to say **** you to the country they made millions in and provided them the freedom to do.

Yep, players are too dumb to think about this. Look at Kap, if he wants a job it won't be in the NFL. In fact as a business owner I wouldn't hire him to sweep floors.

First off it it doesn't bring awareness to anything but the protest. This thread is evidence of that fact.

The flag is not a symbol of police brutality.

Saying "Chiefs" at the end of the anthem is not disrespectful its showing pride in your team and country. "Home of the Chiefs" does not in any way try to imply anything to the negative.

But I will admit I understand why some people would see it that way, I just don't agree with it.

I also don't feel like raising your fist during the Anthem while standing is disrespectful either.
