You do realize Jones taking a knee, along with his team, and not advocating for social justice or reform diminishes the gesture, right?

Do what the NBA does. And what Jerry Jones (I'm guessing) is doing. Tell them to stand for the anthem no matter what. Then help the players build their platform, including PSAs before & during the game. As with all things, Goodell kept punting on this issue until it was too late. If owners want to win and keep fans happy at the same time, then they should sincerely help players advocate for their causes on their own time. NBA players have specifically said they don't kneel because they feel the league and owners are very supportive of them off the field.

Unlike the NFL in which you have some owners trying to save face.

Your open borders idiocy makes you a nutcase in the eyes of the “normies”, you know that right?

Funny, I didn't think the gesture was any less because they didn't choose to do it during the anthem. MOF I would respect it more. It would be a good gesture if every team that wanted to do it did it just before the anthem IMO. That's not the point though is it? They need to piss on the country.

I have to admit it's been somewhat amusing watching Goodell bumble**** around with the issue. How that incompetent **** keeps his job is a mystery to me.

But yeah... He thought his own fans mocking him was hilarious and heart-warming.
Fill me in on all the other NFL players who have snapped and lost their shit acting like a moron MULTIPLE times because of the fans giving him shit.

I'll wait.

Apparently everyone has way to much time on their hands to care about this stupid shit that really doesn't ****ing matter. Dude standing or kneeling really doesn't impact anyone's god damn day any more than if they care about how many times someone takes a shit during the day.

This is just stupid shit that everyone including the President gives way to much of a shit about. It's literally being divisive to be divisive.

Absolutely. It's like the moneyball of politics, though. It used to be about swing voters. Now, you don't care about people like me. You care about exciting your base. When Trump uses his outlandish rhetoric, it pisses off minorities. In turn, minorities and media outlets put white people on blast more than ever. White people who were previously moderates get sick of being demonized, and in turn are more likely than ever to become right radical. So quite frankly Trump benefits.

Same goes for the far left. The more the far right yells, the more far left they'll get. If you want to influence someone who doesn't agree with you, marching, putting them down, and making huge spectacles is now how you do it. Most of the people marching are doing so with people they already agree with. Blocking roads, pissing people off, using putdowns, holding torches and spouting mean comments doesn't help influence the other side to your frame of thought, it just reinforces hatred & division. To influence people or persuade people, you need them to like you, do so with organized thought, compassion, and logic.

What the whole political game has become is really a joke, their side is like their team and they cheer them on and won't admit when anything is wrong cause yea go team.

This issue is a classic example, no one should give 2 shits about this.
