Bashaud Breeland is visiting Chiefs on Monday

Cornerback Bashaud Breeland is visiting the Raiders on Sunday and Monday then headed to the Chiefs on Tuesday, a source said. He’s the one who signed a three-year, $24 million deal with the Panthers that was voided after he failed a physical. He’s healthy and ready to go.

This is any franchise's wisest move, but will he settle for it when he wants to get a bigger deal?

Is this serious? Guys wanting to get paid the most is a negative on their character? Why should athletes take less?

Seriously, I'm all for the players getting as much as they can out of this racket, even if it's at the Chiefs expense. Teams are vicious when it comes to getting rid of players.

Depends on how he and Fuller got along. If they were good buddies then have Fuller text him about every 20 minutes telling him to get his ass to KC, get signed and get to practice. If they were only "co-workers" in the same defensive backfield for the Redskins then who knows what he'll do.

He gave up the 4th fewest yards by a cornerback per game in the NFL last year.

This take makes no sense.

Quote:
Fewest CB Yards Allowed Per Game in 2017:

1. Aaron Colvin: 22.3
2. Kendall Fuller: 22.6
3. Chris Harris: 27.4
4. Bashaud Breeland: 27.8
5. Artie Burns: 29.1

The real benefit is that you improve more than one CB spot on the roster by signing him. If he ends up as our 2nd corner, then our current 2nd (Amerson) becomes our 3rd, our current 3rd corner (probably Nelson) becomes our 4th, etc.

If he turns out to be healthy and productive, then we have even more flexibility with those 3 picks in the first 2 rounds next year. We can package them to move up for 1 better pick or just grab some luxury depth.

Im all for it.
