When those same people look at liberals they see a different set of "standards". Moral ambiguity. The destruction of the "nuclear family". the rejection of God and Country in favor of a more "anything goes" type attitude. And everything and everyone that disagrees with them is either (1) uneducated or (2) stuck in the past.

Frankly, I'll take the onus of being both uneducated and stuck in the past over their idea of "governance" any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
Scary accurate. Rep given.

I would add in something to do with the sexual revolution of the 60's and the removal of God from the public school (not sure when you would put a finger on that quite), and these points definitely start separating cons from libs. You eluded to both, but I think they specifically need mentioned.

Why did you italicize the word violent and quote those two quotes? The word doesn't appear in either one? Have I missed something? Heck, the two quotes don't even lead toward violent as best I can read

Was you trying to change the meaning of crime to mean violent? Just curious, I didn't follow.

The fact that it's nearly impossible for a regular, law abiding citizen to get a concealed carry permit in Kalifornia also factors into their problems. The street scum know their victims won't be armed, so they can basically do whatever they want. That's not the case in Kansas City, or St. Louis, or even Chicago. The psychopaths who run Kalifornia in general and San Francisco in particular have completely stacked the deck against regular people. The cops have been neutered and are overwhelmed.

So, you were merely beaten and robbed? Well, you're still alive, so **** off. You might want to cancel your stolen credit cards and deactivate your stolen phone. And try not to step in any shit piles on the way out. Have a nice day!

I completely understand Pawn's points he is making.

My problem with it is that I dont trust it to stop at the school board level.

Call me paranoid - but I see it as conditioning. And given California's track-record, I'd be betting on more to come.

9th Circuit (unbelievable) just upheld the ban on the "magazine ban". Weird, right? So now, in Kalifornia, you can own 30 round magazines….but I guess NOT the gun to shoot them with?

If a state or city wants to include their voice in local (or even state) elections, why shouldn’t they? States’ rights, right?

Non-applicable. Your ham-handed attempt at using the 'states rights' talking point is recognized for the failure that it is.

Residents are counted in the census. If a city wants to allow them to vote in city elections, why not? Shouldn’t that be their decision?

1. You said state as well as city.
2. By 'residents' do you include illegals? If so, no. Illegals have no say in anything other than asking how they can comply with our immigration laws.
