Total War fans, which game should I get?

Rome Total War is one of my favorite games of all time. I've played it for hundreds of hours and as such, have never really played any other Total War games.

I've got a pretty powerful machine now and want to test it out with a game. I'm wondering if I should check out Attila or not. If not, what game would you guys recommend in the series that is somewhat newer?

This actually looks REALLY cool. I just wonder if it will work.

1. I have a Mac. I would think the mod just alters the game assets so it would work on Mac but I'm not sure and can't find any helpful info.

2. It seems the latest version of the mod requires 4 different DLC packs. I wonder if I can even install the mod without the DLC or if will just limit faction choices.

1. dont know

2. if the mod needs the DLC then you MUST have the DLC to get it to run

if you decide to get an older game, you might want to wait until the steam winter sale. up to 75% off.

I just solved some of my issues as far as game selection - got me a Windows 10 key and installed Bootcamp on my iMac. So now I should be able to run all Windows games natively if there's no Mac version.
