Roku Box?
I'd like for my boys to be able to get the free Amazon movies and tv shows but their TVs don't support the Amazon feed. The Roku 2XD is listed as a compatible device. Anyone here have any experience with a Roku box? If so, what do you use it for? I'm trying to figure out if there is $80 worth of functionality in these things.

not sure what the deal is with these kinds of media boxes.. just pirate everything and push it from your computer to the TV...??? am I missing something?

It (kind of) turns your regular TV into a smart TV. Then you go from there.

Well, the media box also allows you to stream from your PC via WiFi. Its alot cheaper then an xbox or a playstation. You dont have to have a PC set up right next to your tv. Just a little HDMI stick in the back, plus netflix for kids is a ****ing godsend i tell you. Worth every ****ing penny if you have kids around.

I started doing this when I was driving over the road. I download to my phone and watch on TV via MHL adapter.
