Suggestions on a boat , bring it !
Made up my mind , it's time to buy a REAL fishin boat. I've got a jon boat and a ghenoe but now i'm ready to slow down and go fishin. I just want a modest comfortable boat I can fish from that is big enough to take waves but not too big . an 18 - 20 foot boat.

Give me some suggestions. I'm liking the Lund boats, set up real nice but a V-hull . I used to own some tri hulls when I lived in Georgia fishin with the Gators . I haven't been fishin since I moved to this God forsaken place. Nothing here but wind !

I have boats for the pond thing but since I moved to the panhandle of Texas there are no ponds, no rivers . Nothing . so I want to go fish some lakes like the one in Broken Bow i just put in the OP.

Had a Lotta boats. My latest is my best fishing boat so far. A 16' Carolina skiff. It's perfect.

But in the 18-20' range, I had an Aquasport 20. Awesome all around boat for fishing and skiing.

I used to live in thomasville Georgia at one point and slide my boat down to Lake Miccosukee in florida. I had bought a used boat with a 50 HP motor and it blew up after running to the other end of the lake and had to be towed back to dock. the gators were sooo cool.
