Alex Smith Traded to Chiefs

Well, it looks like the deal is done.

https://twitter.com/intent/user?scre...w_p=tweetembed

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith.

They give no acknowledgement of the difference from alex of the last two years, (yourself included pumpkin) and the previous six. But, i did read today, that Mark Sanchez's situation, and coaching, ruined him lol.

What ruined Alex then?
Maybe you should do a search of posts prior to talking out of your ass

shrugs. Then I cant help you. Im not cherry picking anything. Im simply taking the difference between no coaching, and superior coaching. and relating them to the fact that Andy Reid is a qb friendly coach. Doug Pederson is also very knowledgeable of the qb position. If you had to compare the two situations between the chiefs, and 49ers pre and post harbaugh, which would you more likely compare and use as a variable? Come on, despite the witty banter, and sly insults that you and I sling at each other, i do find you as more of the more rational posters here. So, tell me why you would consider the years previous to Harbaugh when the entire FRANCHISE of the 49ers was more of a joke than the chiefs last season? And we pulled that off for almost a DECADE.......

No. Its things i wont do, because i wouldnt waste my fingers typing, or the miles driving to drive down to missouri to pick a fight with someone i dont know. For all i know, you could be the baddest man on the planet. Or you could be a 75 year old man with an oxygen tank and a walker. Either way, its just stupid beyond belief. "your opinion is different than mine, ur a bitch."

lol.........its ****ing stupid..........if i want to argue with a child, or a person who acts like a child, i have kids for that.....

But, im glad you verbally punked me. You win.....

Um, ok? I don't care whether you do or don't, just pointing out that it wasn't an error. I would note that for someone that doesn't care that post seemed to have a lot of effort in it. If you don't care, just don't say anything in response to it. Ten "don't cares" has the opposite effect.

The Niners were no joke last season, that is my point...Even in '11 they were a seriously talented team.

In all seriousness, I do honestly feel the chiefs underperformed in 2012.....and in 2011 injury devastated the Chiefs from week 1. Hell we had more torn ACL's than TD's after a month of football.

But what SHOULD the chiefs be like in 13? I'm thinking 6-8 wins

I've been watching smith since his rookie season, so you'll have to forgive me if I dont buy into the idea that his last 1.5 seasons with a Championship caliber team should be in any way an indication as to how he will do with a much, much worse team.

I'm pretty bitter...Unlike many here though, I wont root against him (like the fools who rooted against Cassel).

I will be cheering him on game day.

Il also be holding out hope we do something crazy on draft day tho....

Great, but your not the only psych major. Thing is, you don't have to reinforce it. If you don't care, why does making your point to people that you don't respect matter? Just ignore them. Normally I would just let you go on proving that you don't care, and really you can choose to continue or not. I just commented since you quoted me.

Feel free to keep pointing out your degree and how much you don't care, because it makes you seem like a guy not desperate to prove how level-headed and intelligent he is.

And I respect that. I get that, you live there, like i do here near the packers, and i am married to a packer fan, and I swear to god that aaron rodgers is the cockiest **** i have ever seen in my life. Now, on Alex Smith, this is purely hypothetical on my part. And I truly believe that in 2011 that Jim and Greg told Alex Smith, to rely on the running game, and defense, and to just not turn the ball over. I believe that he transformed into an over safe, care taker. I dont honestly know that if Andy Reid tries to turn him into a gun slinger, how that is going to work out. Me thinking that the similarities are similar.

In 2010 if you watched the 49ers you know this to be true. They never ever ever, blitzed, they got no pressure on the defense, and played zone soft coverage every game.

Thats pretty much how I viewed the chiefs defense last season.

The 49ers kicked out Greg Manusky, and brought in with Jim Vic Fangio, who is a pressure guy, just like the guy you got now.

I believe that your defense will be a top 15 defense this year. Provided people stay healthy.

I believe that your offense wont be a top 10, but it should be about top 15 and wont have anywhere near the turnovers. You have a great punter, and a great kicker. Its so ridiculous how close the similarities are. Not to mention the guy wearing number 11.

You also play in a crap division, and in the weaker of the conferences. I truly believe that 10 wins is very possible. Not a shock jock statement. Absolute truth. You guys have a TON of talent. Especially in the front 7

Well, why are we having this back and forth, and why did you feel it was your place to jump in to something that had nothing to do with you? I could not of cared, or i could of just enjoyed bantering with Jason. Oh, and i never said i dont respect anyone. The truth is i respect everyone....even when I am disrespected. hehehe. have a nice day pal....

I just jumped in to point out that Jason was making a joke, not making a grammatical error. New people on the board don't understand it's a running joke, and I don't blame them. Then you told me you didn't care 5 times. Not really a back and forth, and if it is, we are both done with it.

I wish i understood what the issue is with albert. If you keep albert, and draft joeckell, then i am 100 percent certain that the chiefs will have success.

If they trade albert, draft joeckell, then I really dont have that answer, becasue im not as big on Joeckell as some. By the way. Just so you know, this Chiefs optimism, isnt something that was based on this year and nothing to do with alex smith. I ACTUALLY thought they were going to be better last year.......Injuries, and terrible qb play destroyed that.
