First Episode of HBO's 'Silicon Valley' free

Mods feel free to move to media center if necessary, but I thought the wider audience might like to know.

Mike Judge's new satire of early Silicon Valley, getting rave reviews and enjoyed great initial audience numbers.

But GoT killed HBO Go, so HBO decided to give the minions a taste. Fully legit.

Man, that Emoji Movie is leaving a swath of destruction.

Now Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are separated.

That's too bad about Miller's drug use. It definitely seemed like more of him getting shitcanned according to the sub-Reddits I read during the season.

I saw him perform standup in CoMo about a year-and-a-half ago. Pretty much the routine he did for his HBO special. It was really good, but he did tear into an audience member pretty well.

I have a feeling he's one of those guys who is brilliant but just too volatile to stay in any one place for long.

One of my best friends is a big time screenwriter and he's been working on a screenplay for both of them in which to star.

It sucks for him, too.

Holy shit!! On the latest Doug Loves Movies

Aya Cash, Desmond Borges, and Kumail Nanjiani guest.

Aya tells a story about Desmond bringing a box of certain doughnuts to set any time there's stress [EDIT: Donut Friend in Highland].

Kumail mutters.

Aya [completely innocently] says 'don't you wish he was on your show. . . Like, what does TJ . . . '

Crowd erupts in hoots and hollers

Kumail [dry as ****] - Yes, . . finish your question.

I found last night’s episode to be tedious.

Middleditch has zero appeal to me and the best part of this series was always his missteps in the face of Bachman’s advice.

If this isn’t the last season, I’ll be surprised.

"People don't want to follow an idea, they want to follow a leader. Look at the last guy to create a new Internet -- Al Gore. His ideas were excellent, but he talked like a narcoleptic plantation-owner, so he lost the presidency to a fake cowboy, and now he makes apocalypse-porn."

Eventually they have to have a payoff on the show. Not since the first season have they actually seen success to where every season since then has been them narrowly escaping some type of legal issue or failure by some surprise twist. It's like an M. Night Shamalyan movie, but the twist hasn't been good since Season 2, and even that was pretty ridiculous. I hope the show writers actually give them the fame and power and then take it away in the next season somehow or this show is going to annoy me with how many times Judge pulls out the same thing year after year.

T.J. Miller Arrested for Calling in False Bomb Threat

T.J. Miller — the former star of HBO’s “Silicon Valley” — was arrested last night after calling in a fake bomb threat while traveling on a train headed to New York City.

While Miller was arrested last night, the incident in question happened back on March 18.

According to the United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, Miller was charged with intentionally conveying to law enforcement false information about an explosive device on a train.
