To make room for Hendricks, the Royals sent Crow all the way down to AA. He'll be back up when the rosters expand.

Probably because he's 5-9 lifetime with 2 HR and 6 RBI against Hughes, and Willingham is 1-7 with 4 K's against Hughes.

I'm just explaining why I think he's in there, based on Yost's comments on platoons with Soren. He's all about match ups, and I would assume that includes match ups with minimal sample size.
