Like taking an entire episode to have Andrea traverse to the Prison by herself to drop by and say hello and then leave.

I'm at least glad they didn't randomly put Morgan in this episode or have him be the one who burned up the walkers. "Clear" might have been the best episode of this season (and definitely the best in the 2nd half), but it worked well as a one-off kind of thing (at least for now). The Morgan that we saw in it wouldn't be involving himself in a human conflict like the one between Rick and the Governor, he's long past that point.

Anyone who liked this episode should have their head examined. What a piece of shit. I don't know as I will be back for next season. **** you AMC for having something that could be a great show and ****ing it up horribly.

JFC they went into commerial at like 8:44, came back at 8:48, went back to commercial at 8:51, came back at 8:55. We started timing it towards the end because we noticed how many commercials they were running. AMC has to be the worst run station. They decide to take on great shows then **** them up. If they **** up the ending to Breaking Bad I will leave never to return to one of their show.

The random insertion of clear was done because of fans just as the addition of Merle was done because of fanfare. Neither of which made any sense.

I love how an ARMY goes into a prison and a two-man ambush (while missing everyone. Seriously, how do you not kill a single person in an ambush?) causes them to get in their car and literally run? Then the governor, who ran with them, gets pissed off that everyone ran. WTF was that bullshit?

Another thing i thought of....when they went into the prison and tombs, they were led by the guy (i forgot his name) who was part of Tyreses crew. He obviously would have known about the threat in the tombs with the zombies. Why wouldnt he have warned the Govenor and anyone else about what was down there?

Great point. They had to fight through the worst part of the freaking prison to get to Rick and his group when they were first introduced. JFC.

I noticed on my Uverse guide it showed the episode was 1 hour and 7 minutes long. Normally they are about 1 hour and 3 minutes or 4.

My guess is the actual length of the episode was the same, but they added a couple more minutes of ad time knowing the ratings would be astronomical.

Probably. I don't have cable so I torrented it and don't deal with commercials.

At the end of the episode it felt more like a mid-season finale than the actual season finale.

Not bad but not epic or great. Did not live up to the hype at all.

But they weren't an Army. They were a bunch of soft ass pussies who had been coddled by the governor's soldiers in Woodbury. The governor created that culture through his mock gladiator battles with the walkers. So when they were faced with some real threat walkers and chaotic circumstances, they tucked tail and ran like scared bitches. Made perfect sense to me.

I saw that coming from the moment the governor started trying to form him "army" from the "good citizens" of Woodbury. They aren't battle hardened from a life on the road like Ricks' group and the governor had lost most of his real soldiers due to Merle.

Yeah--I thought that was kind of ridiculous. Would the Gov really take that many people inside the an unfamiliar place like the prison where they would easily be cornered and easily mowed down?

And once they were all in, how did they all get out, into their cars, and escape with no one shot? Always amazing on TV how people with machine guns can spray fire all over the place and hit absolutely nothing.

Too many holes and contrived coincidences in that episode.

True. I just can't get my head around them having a 50 cal and grenade launchers but needing to cower when two shooters, who can't hit a target to literally save their lives, are firing at them.

Not to mention that the Governor can plan an assault on military targets and take all their ammo and goods, but two people who can't shoot? Hell no, let's get the hell out of here.
