Saying it was Newtons fault he couldn't beat the Chiefs is bullshit. The guy threw 2 should have been 3 tds but lafell can't catch and the defense made Quinn look like Peyton Manning.

If Newton were somebackwards hick this fanbase would love him.

RG3
Luck
Russel Wilson
Colin Kaepernick
Rodgers
Manning

That's just a quick list of guys I'd take over Cam immediately.

Leadership, integrity and intelligence are things that are arguably more important than physical ability when discussing a quarterbacks ability to win championship(s).
Cam Newton is a 23 year old kid. He's had enough maturity to break the rookie record for passing yards, his rushing skills are unbelieveable, the guy is a physical monster and with elite coaching, he'd be an elite player for a decade or more.

I wouldn't touch Peyton Manning with a 10 foot pole. RGIII needs to change his game to survive in this league, Russell Wilson averaged only 200 yards a game, Keapernick is a Newton clone (with less experience) and Rodgers is in the prime of his career and not likely to play at high level for another decade (although it's certainly possible).

Luck is the only guy I'd consider and even he had better skill position players than Newton has had in Carolina.

I'd take RG3, Luck, Wilson and at least 5 others if we are talking the next ten years. The guy is lacking in leadership.

It's rare when that trait is fixable and it takes a lot of work and solid coaching...something I don't see happening. I wouldn't be surprised if EJ Manuel has a better career.

How do you know? Do you work in Carolina? What kind of coaching and mentoring is he receiving in Carolina, which is a complete disaster of a franchise?

Who are his receivers? His tight ends? Marty Hurney dumped a shit ton of money into the running back position and it was a disaster, which caused him to be fired at midseason. Ron Rivera's defense, which is supposedly his forte, is a disaster as well.

Now, he's got Mike Shula in his ear. The same Mike Shula that couldn't devise an offense worth a shit in Alabama, that couldn't devise an offense for Tony Dungy in Tampa and so on.

He's in a terrible situation. Terrible. Yet, if he were in San Fran, Green Bay, Houston, KC, New Orleans and likely Miami and Seattle, the dude would be unstoppable.

He's screwed and stuck with a shit owner and shit franchise, yet it's on him?

No way, Jose.

RGIII- The way he plays, might not be in the NFL in 10 years.

Wilson and Kaepernick- NFL defensive's will stop that read option this year. Let's see how they do then before you crown them.

I agree with you on Luck.

It's not as bad as when he said that the Dolphins wouldn't have been better off if they had drafted Matt Ryan over Jake Long.

Matt Ryan has the best skill position players in the NFL. He's won exactly one playoff game, in his fifth season, and by the skin of his teeth.

Yeah, he's a superstar that changed that franchise.

I know it's not as impressive as breaking the rookie record for passing yards. I mean you break that record and your on a short list of players that includes Rick Mirer. Now that is ****ing impressive.

What's your opinion of Newton?

Being passive-agressive isn't funny. It just makes you look like a dick.

Where's the proof that they would have been better off?

Matt Ryan's career to date has been nothing short of a disappointment. Atlanta has surrounded him with talent and he's failed to deliver.
