That comment about Cam making Elway look a chump is one of the worst takes ive ever read on any football site anywhere.

Dane constantly talks shit on Geno's attitude, yet this is his QB Messiah.

Cam Newton is an immature little punk.

29 interventions and 15 fumbles to only 40 passing touchdowns.

13 wins

Yeah, clearly the best quarterback in the whole league...

Correction, he only threw 19 TD passes last year and 21 the year before. He's also only had 62 total TDs, not 66.

You can't talk about what a great QB Cam is and try to prop up your opinion using his total TD stats when almost a third of his TDs are rushing. He's a phenomenal athlete, but he's far from a polished QB.

Entitlement issues
Poor work ethic
Selfish on and off the field
Poor leader
Lacks the mental part of the position and leans on his physical ability
Celebrates his own scoring plays with dances when his team is getting blown out.
Rubs people the wrong way
Constantly falls asleep in QB meetings
Is dishonest
Is a thief

Yeah..."best quarterback in the league"

If Cam Newton didn't have elite physical talent, he'd be Trayvon Martin.

I can't wait to see the looks he gives when his team still isn't winning in his third year.

The guy is a paper tiger.

You're right, I should have said nearly, like I normally do.

Wow, and Geno Smith isn't?

Cam Newton has been strapped to the worst offensive personnel in the league and a terrible defense since he was drafted.

Are you telling me that if he were a member of the Ravens or Redskins Patriots or Packers or 49ers, this guy wouldn't be "rated" as amongst the best, if not THE best QB in the league?

What are you smokin'

Good God, I didn't say he was the best QB in the league. I said I'd take him over any QB in the league, today.

The guy has TWO years in the league and will likely play for another decade.

Who wouldn't want that guy?

Sorry, I should have used the word "nearly", as I always do when describing Cam Newton.

And FTR, you don't know DICK about QB's or any other position on the field, for that matter.

I don't care how many touchdown dances he has when his team is down 3 scores or more, the guy will never win a damn thing because he is a terrible leader.

The guy couldn't even beat the Chiefs when they were distracted by a teammate committing murder suicide.
The only guy that I would consider would be Luck.

If you're looking at the next 10 years, I take Cam over anyone else.

Those teams perform better partly because of the leadership offered by their quarterbacks.

The guy doesn't inspire anybody.

RG3
Luck
Russel Wilson
Colin Kaepernick
Rodgers
Manning

That's just a quick list of guys I'd take over Cam immediately.

Leadership, integrity and intelligence are things that are arguably more important than physical ability when discussing a quarterbacks ability to win championship(s).
