They have already promised to do that. They have announced multiple times that they aren't taking a QB #1. We just refuse to accept it.

Trading for Alex Smith doesn't translate to the Chiefs not drafting Geno. Telling the world there isn't any QB worth drafting anywhere in the first round does. Alex Smith coming here just sucks on it's own two feet, as he is a bad QB who will game manage us to mediocrity.
